People-Eating Dream Girl - A Play on Zoom!

People-Eating Dream Girl is a two-act dark romantic comedy in which college sophomore Gregg Dean tells us the story of the time he dated a cannibal. Other than the whole eating people thing, Ursula was his dream girl: a witty cinephile from Switzerland who also happens to be drop-dead gorgeous. Gregg's sister Nora doesn't trust her, and even his best friend Kevin has his doubts, but Gregg is convinced he can make things work. Only when his economics professor—who also happens to be his mom's boyfriend—turns up dead does he realize he might have a problem.

The Astrea Roswitha Playwriting Salon is a “cozy table read series” founded by three Antioch University MFA alumni (The Table Collective) in collaboration with Antioch MFA Dramatic Writing Faculty Colette Freedman. The Salon offers playwrights the opportunity to receive feedback on new works and to share them with fellow writers and theatre enthusiasts.
