Join us for an Alaska book launch and spelling bee in collaboration with Fireside Books and 203 Kombucha in Palmer on Saturday, August 1, at 6 p.m. Editor/publisher Caitlin Buxbaum will introduce the book, Laura Carpenter and Sue Skvorc will read their essays from the book, and the bee will begin. The bee will be moderated by Laura, who helped judge the Alaska State Spelling Bee in Anchorage this spring!

Admission is free, and if you win the spelling bee, you get a goodie bag with our new book inside!
